Recommended Solar Capacity
Right-sized to the requirement and feasible roof area.
Clear planning, reliable execution and better economics for your community.
Start with your common-area electricity bill.
Solar can offset recurring electricity used across shared facilities. The first step is understanding where your society uses power.

Recurring common-area loads in many apartment communities.
Corridors, parking areas, outdoor lighting and shared spaces.
Treatment plants and other common utility equipment, where applicable.
Association-operated amenities and common facilities.
Other shared electrical loads depending on the property.
Clear technical and financial information to help your association review the decision internally.
Right-sized to the requirement and feasible roof area.
With the key assumptions stated clearly.
How the system is proposed to sit on the available roof.
Major equipment and execution scope identified upfront.
The applicable documentation and execution pathway.
What is covered after commissioning.

Clear enough to review internally. Detailed enough to compare proposals responsibly.
Five clear steps. One team from assessment to support.
Review common-area electricity usage, goals and preliminary solar requirement.
Check usable roof area, shading, structure and practical installation feasibility.
Finalise system size, components, expected generation, savings and project scope.
Support the applicable EB/net-metering process while executing the installation.
Testing, handover and continued post-installation service support.
Clear guidance your committee can use before evaluating solar proposals.
Understand sizing, savings, rooftop feasibility and the approval process before comparing proposals.

The questions committees and residents commonly ask before deciding.
There is no single system size for every apartment. We look at common-area electricity usage, usable rooftop, daytime consumption, applicable connection and the association’s objectives before recommending capacity.
Solar can help offset electricity used by common services such as lifts, pumps, lighting, STP and shared facilities, depending on the property’s actual load profile and system design.
In general, 1 kW installation requires approximately 60 - 70 Sq ft. But overall roof space requirement depends on recommended capacity, module layout, shading, setbacks, access pathways and mounting design. Usable area is confirmed during the site survey.
A standard on-grid system normally shuts down during a grid outage for safety. If backup is required for selected essential loads, Scaler Solar can assess an appropriate configuration.
Eligibility depends on the applicable scheme, connection type and current program rules. Scaler Solar verifies eligibility before including any subsidy benefit in a proposal rather than assuming it upfront.
The applicable requirements depend on the property’s electricity connection and proposed system. Scaler Solar supports the relevant TANGEDCO and net-metering/documentation process as applicable.
The timeline depends on project size, site conditions, final design and applicable approvals. A realistic project timeline is provided after the survey and proposal stage.
Scaler Solar handles testing and commissioning and provides 5 years of service support after the system goes live.
